Our Los Angeles Model UN camps strike the perfect balance between global leadership training and summer fun—giving kids and teens the chance to spend a week stepping into the shoes of world leaders at one of the top universities in the world. Middle School Model UN Camp for Students Ages 11-13 at UCLA
Travel into the world of Model UN, U.S. politics, & global issues! Students will embark on an exciting journey to enhance their debate & leadership skills as they explore different countries & topics along with new friends! Camp is packed with interactive MUN simulations on diverse topics, public speaking labs, fun trivia & improv games, engaging lessons, daily feedback from expert Mentors, & plenty of time to socialize. On the final day, students take part in a thrilling simulation on a current global issue. They'll represent a new country, deliver a compelling opening speech, engage in dynamic debates, & collaborate with peers to draft a resolution. Parents are welcome to observe the final simulation! By the end of the week, your child will be inspired to make a difference in the world & ready to excel in MUN at their school or with Best Delegate.
Students will:

Campus Life at UCLA!
Alongside global leadership training and summer fun, our Los Angeles program gives students the chance to experience a top 25 university.
At the MUN Institute at UCLA, students will enjoy the world-class campus, dine at the Dining Hall, learn in inspiring classrooms, and spend time outdoors playing games and building friendships.
For Overnight Campers, the experience continues. Students live in the residence halls and take part in engaging evening activities led by our dedicated residential counselors and the Residential Director. Staying overnight fosters independence, builds confidence, and gives students the chance to create lifelong friendships!

The Overnight Experience:
Experience living at their dream university in residence halls & eating in the dining halls
Deepen their bonds with friends through evening programs & free time
Participate in evening events: campus tours, sports, trivia, & organized games
Overnight Camp includes: 6 nights in the residence halls, all meals, and fun programming. Students are supervised by our Camp Director, Residential Director, & MUN Mentors who have been background checked, extensively trained, and prepared to provide a safe & fun experience. Curfew is 10 pm for Middle School Campers and 11 pm for High School Campers.
